First time setup of my Deco M5 it was in Router mode. Easy setup and the mesh seemed to be working ok (or so I thought). The Virgin Superhub was still in router mode so it was possible to connect to the original SSID. I don't have anything to add about the superhub, but regarding the old routers that virgin used to give out (Netgear WGR614), it looks like DD-WRT custom firmware is being worked on for them. The engineer never took the virgin router, and from the sounds of it from other people, they all got to keep theirs also. There are two ways to connect a WPS client device to the Virgin Media Business Super Hub.
