Aug 19, 2015 · Showing my age. I started with GD and worked on Tape drives and Hard drives in large computer rooms/Mainframe world. AT&T was cutting edge and installed these 10 Mb drives. As PM, preventitive maintenance, I had to put a scope on and check the voice coil/head aliagnment. I also had to do this with banks of 8" floppies.
